I have never been a fan of any type of thick, creamy drinks. I’ve had protein shakes, different types of smoothies and they just didn’t taste good to me. I absolutely love fruit but would always just eat them fresh and never in smoothie form. I’ve always wanted to try juicing but being a nurse & working so many hours a day, I barely have time for anything. I took 16oz of celery juice for 3 days straight, first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. At the beginning of the 3 days I had been fighting a cold and the morning before drinking the juice was probably the worst I had felt in a span of 4 days of already being sick. I’m not one to take medicine, in most cases I just flood my immune system with Emergen-C packets and get by with that. Instead of continuing that, I stopped taking vitamin C, and by day 3 of the celery juice I was completely back to health and feeling energized again!
